How do credits work?
CarouselMaker's AI features run on credits. Generating a carousel or editing its copy and design uses credits. Credits come in two forms — monthly credits that refill with your plan each month, and credit packs you top up whenever you need more.
What costs how much
Not every action uses credits. Only AI generation does — swapping photos and downloading are free.

Monthly credits
Each plan comes with a set number of credits per month, refilled to the plan's allowance at the start of each month.
- Free — 30 credits / month
- Starter — 300 credits / month
- Pro — 600 credits / month
- Master — 1,400 credits / month
Monthly credits reset each month and don't roll over, so it's best to use them within the month.
Credit packs
Run out of monthly credits or need more? Top up with a credit pack. Packs are a one-time purchase and kick in after your monthly credits are used up.
- 30-credit pack
- 80-credit pack
- 200-credit pack
- 500-credit pack
Pack credits are valid for 12 months from the purchase date. Check the pricing page for current prices.
Where to top up
Two ways:
- Buy a credit pack directly from the pricing page
- When you run low while making a carousel, a prompt appears — top up right there
